Take a candlelight tour of the Historic Broken Boot Gold Mine! Experience the mine the way prospectors did over 100 years ago, by candle light. In those days, miners were given a ration of only three candles per day. This tour offers a unique perspective not available at any other mine or cave tours in the region. Each guest uses a battery powered candle to light their way. An experienced tour guide will lead you underground and into a real, historic mine. You’ll learn about the mine’s history and the methods used to extract the precious metal.

Be sure to arrive no later than 5pm if you would like a gold panning lesson. Additional fees apply.
