Dwight and Danielle Miller are the new owners of the newly named Sturgis Motel, currently the only motel within walking distance to main street Sturgis.The historical Poker Alice House resides on this property providing some local western history.

Dwight and Danielle are from Sacramento, California and have been in the service industry for over 40 years. Dwight is a retired Orthodontist who enjoys running, skiing, reading, his two children, and handy jobs around the house. Danielle has a corporate background along with a real estate license. She has spent the majority of her time this past decade, raising their daughter. After inquiring about the motel and the historical home, the Millers discovered that Danielle is related to Poker Alice!

Frank and Elizabeth Sorensen are excited to join Dwight and Danielle in their new venture as Innkeepers of The Sturgis Motel. Frank and Elizabeth are originally from the Black Hills area and have over 30 years of combined experience in all aspects of the Hospitality and Property Management industry.Frank holds a degree in Business Management and has experience in property management, maintenance, and construction. He enjoys handyman projects, agate hunting, camping, and traveling.Elizabeth has military finance and high-end hospitality management background.  She enjoys cooking, thrifting, classical music, traveling, and spending time with their new puppy, Ernie.
